The Freies Gymnasium Zürich Theaterwerkstatt has commenced rehearsals for its new project: Heinrich von Kleist's powerful drama, «The Broken Jug», which is one of the most frequently performed plays in German literature. Goethe first staged the play in Weimar where it premiered in 1808. The main theme of the «The Broken Jug» is the abuse of power, which means it is as topical today as it has ever been.

There will be six performances of the play, starting on 16 November and ending on 24 November 2012. We hope you will make a note of these dates and look forward to welcoming you in November.
