Quality is a top priority for us
Freies Gymnasium Zürich insists on top quality at every level. In order to review the current situation regarding quality, in 2009 Freies Gymnasium Zürich opted to be assessed by an external specialist organisation for the evaluation of secondary level II, ifes (interkantonale Fachstelle für externe Schulevaluation auf der Sekundarstufe II). Ifes is affiliated to the University of Zurich.
The external school evaluation comprised a meta-evaluation of the school’s quality management (QM) covering all quality areas, as well as the evaluation of a significant school and lesson-related focus area (primary evaluation).
The evaluation essentially produced a very positive picture. Particular praise was given for our support concept and the intensity of support offered by the school.
