Freies Gymnasium Zürich has a manageable size of around 500 students. The school has a friendly family-like atmosphere.

Approximately 80 teachers teach a total of 36 different subjects.

Freies Gymnasium Zürich has high expectations of its students. We want to develop open-minded young people who are able and willing to strive to achieve the required level of performance. We expect them to be committed to the values of our school and to display the necessary motivation to achieve the set targets. Entrance exams and conditions for promotion to the next class are oriented to the required level of performance.

Our teachers do everything in their power to ensure that our students receive the best possible tuition and support, and act as role models in their day-to-day dealings with each other.
