Our Progymnasium class 3 offers students a high-level (A) secondary school leaving certificate with intensive preparation for transition to the upper school of the Gymnasium. We prepare the students in an exclusively Gymnasium-oriented setting and within a manageable framework for an internal transition to our own upper school of the Gymnasium (examination-free transition based on an average grade) or they complete the admission exam ("Zentrale Aufnahmeprüfung" (ZAP)) after one semester to switch to a cantonal school.
Lessons are given by subject teachers from our Gymnasium and focus mainly on the basic and examination subjects mathematics, German and French. Admission is via an entrance examination in German and mathematics.
