School can be quite challenging. Our caterer, the Gastronomy Group ZFV, and its dedicated staff provide sustenance for our students at lunchtimes and during the breaks.
FGZ offers homework support after lessons – in larger or smaller groups as required. Mr Wand is your contact person for individual lessons and tutoring.
A selected number of students receive the opportunity to participate in our student exchange programme during their 4th year at FGZ with a partner school in Australia or Singapore.
Our drama society is an important part of our school and has made an excellent name for itself with demanding productions – in recent years with works from Shakespeare, Kleist, Büchner and Rostand.
What would life be without music? Music is an important part of school life and fosters the personal development of young people. In addition to classical music lessons, our students have the opportunity to sing in the school choir or to join one of our school ensembles.
Sport offers a welcome change from brainwork in lessons. Sports lessons encourage our students to develop polysport skills and to develop key social competencies, such as teamwork, fairness and solidarity.
The scholarship fund offers support to motivated students whose parents are no longer in the position to pay full fees. The foundation has an important social role to play in our school. Donations are very gratefully received.
